If you are subscribing to a Reason+ Monthly plan, you can pause your subscription if you like. While paused, your Reason setup, songs and Sound Packs etc. will remain unaffected, so you can use them again after the pause. However, during the pause period you won't be able to run Reason or Reason Companion.
Your Reason+ Monthly plan will automatically resume when the pause period has elapsed. If you change your mind, you can manually resume your paused subscription at any time and continue using Reason right away.
To be able to pause your Reason+ subscription, you must be on a currently active "full-price" Reason+ Monthly plan (it's not possible to pause if you are using a coupon code). The pause can be 1, 2 or 3 months, and will begin after the current billing period has finished. Please note that Reason+ Annual plans cannot be paused.
Here is how to pause your Reason+ Monthly plan
Go to your Reason Studios account by clicking My Account and selecting "Reason+ subscription".
On the "Plans and Payment" tab you should see the following:
1. Select the number of months you want to pause (1, 2 or 3 months).
2. Click the Pause Subscription button to schedule the pause for the end of the current billing period.
The Plans and Payment tab is now updated and shows the following:
If you change your mind and want to cancel the scheduled pause, click the Unpause button. Your monthly subscription will now continue as usual.
When the pause becomes active at the end of the current billing period, you will see this:
If you change your mind and want to continue with your monthly subscription before the pause ends, click the Pay & Resume Now button. Your subscription will resume immediately and you will be charged the regular monthly fee. You will now be able to use Reason and Reason Companion again.
Note that - as displayed in the screenshot above - it’s still possible to cancel your subscription at any time, even while it’s paused.
If you don't manually resume, your Reason+ Monthly plan will automatically resume and the regular monthly fee will automatically be charged when the pause period has elapsed.
