We're happy to announce the release of Reason 13.2. Reason 13.2 will also be immediately available in the Reason+ subscription.
Here's what's new in 13.2:
New Features
- Reason 13.2 is now also compatible with Windows on Arm computers running the Prism emulation software, see Windows on Arm compatibility statement for more information
- You can now add the "Favorite" tag more easily to devices on the Device Palette. The Favorite tag is now represented by a ❤️ next to the device. Just hover over the device and click the ❤️ symbol; then click the "Show Favorites Only" button at the top to only show these devices in the Device Palette:
- New OS File Icons for song documents, patches, and more
- Added “Add Instrument…” on the +Add Track menu in the track list to quickly add instruments by browsing for patches
Device updates
- Random Tool
- Fixed a bug where a probability of zero would still let notes through
- Fixed a Device Error that could occur when notes got transposed out of range
Browser and Device Palette improvements
- Indexing and searching in the Browser should now be faster for users with larger amounts of content
- Missing files are now visible but indicated as missing in Favorites and Shortcuts
- Shortcuts on a disconnected external disk will now be shown under Shortcuts (but still not be available for browsing content, of course)
- Shortcuts on a disconnected external disk can now be browsed if the disk is re-connected during the session
- Improved and faster shutdown process after quitting Reason
- Reason no longer waits to start Indexing after startup when new content has been added
- Fixed an issue where Windows 'Network Share' did not work as Shortcuts or User Locations in the Browser
- Fixed an issue when renaming a custom tag made the original tag/name get stuck in the 'Tag' section
- Fixed an issue where keyboard selection was lost when folding/unfolding categories in Device Palette
- Adjusted the default preview level in Browser
Sequencer bug fixes and improvements
- Double clicking outside the Note Clip in the Edit Area now adds a new note, and expands the clip to encompass the new note:
- Edit Area now correctly zooms to all selected MIDI clips when opening Edit Area with “Enter”
- It’s now possible to type in the largest values in Note Tools and Edit Area Inspector
- Velocity value no longer cycles back to zero after raising the Velocity to max
- Velocity max value can no longer be more than 127
- The Note Tool dialogs ("Transpose...", "Note Velocity...", "Note Length...", "Alter Notes...", "Randomize Positions..."), the "Quantize Setup" dialog, and the "Scale Tempo > Specify..." dialog now stay on the screen when clicking outside the dialogs. This is so that you can perform operations on consecutive clips without having to re-open the dialogs:

- Note Tools dialogs now respect keyboard focus area
- Fixed an error when using the "Split Clips at Song Position" function while in Blocks mode

2. Navigate to the desired folder.
3. select the folder and click OK in the browser.
