Recording issues

So I have no idea what is causing this. For some reason when I record anything with my midi controller no matter how well I preform it, when I play back the recording for some reason some of the notes at random will not make sound. I can see that the note or notes were mapped and the velocity of the note when it was played. But they make no sound. So I can record a whole piece and randomly as it plays back like %10 of the notes make no sound. Does anyone know what is causing this. Thank you in advance for the help.
