Reason Compact - MIDI keyboard control?

Hi,

Can you play the synth in Reason Compact using a MIDI keyboard (such as Novation Launchkey Mini)?

This keyboard can connect to an iPad via the Lightning/USB connection kit, and you can use it to play the keyboard sounds in Garageband, and many other synth apps.

  Yes, the latest update allows you to connect external MIDI keyboards! The camera connection kit will work, as will MIDI over Bluetooth,

  Hi Jonno,

  For the time being, Reason Compact does not support MIDI input.

  Hi John,
  Has this been changed in the latest update? Also would this be what I would use for connection? https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD821AM/A/lightning-to-usb-camera-adapter
  Lastly, is there support for Bluetooth midi for instance with the Akai LPK25 or the ROLI Seaboard Block?

  Latest update??? My version was updated today, but i can't see any option to connect any MIDI device with it. What do you mean by "allows you to connect", "will work" or "MIDI over Bluetooth"???????????????????? That's pure crab...
