If you are already a user of the perpetual version of Reason 12, Reason 11 or Reason 11 Suite, and would like to try Reason+, there is one thing you need to do if you have authorized your Reason 11/12 on your computer - or are using an Ignition Key.
- Shut down Reason 11/12 or Reason 11 Suite and open the CodeMeter System Preferences pane (Mac) or CodeMeter Control Center program (Win).
- On Mac, click the Stop Service button:
On Windows, select "Stop CodeMeter Service" from the Process menu:
Then close the CodeMeter program (Win). - Launch Reason 11/12 or Reason 11 Suite.
- To check if Reason 11/12 or Reason 11 Suite is now running with the Reason+ service, select "About Reason" from the Reason menu (Mac) or Help menu (Win). If Reason is running with the Reason+ service, you will see this in the splash:
If you are not running with the Reason+ service, you will see your license number instead of the "Active Reason+ subscriber" line.
If you want to reactivate your authorization and run Reason authorized instead of with the Reason+ service, proceed as follows:
- Shut down Reason 11/12 and open the CodeMeter System Preferences pane (Mac) or CodeMeter Control Center program (Win).
- On Mac, click the Start Service button:
On Windows, select "Restart CodeMeter Service" from the Process menu:
Close the CodeMeter program (Win). - Launch Reason 11/12 or Reason 11 Suite to launch in authorized mode.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on the configuration of you Windows computer, it could be that CodeMeter is automatically activated, even though you manually stopped the CodeMeter Service. If this happens, the easiest solution would be to uninstall CodeMeter from your computer.
If you then would like to reactivate your authorization, to run your perpetual Reason authorized, reinstall CodeMeter from here.
IMPORTANT! Since Reason+ Sound Packs are designed for Reason 12 only, it's not possible to load Sound Pack patches in Reason 11 or Reason 11 Suite!
